Why we don’t bill insurance:
Radiance Pediatrics operates as a Direct Primary Care practice — you pay a flat membership fee instead of copays/deductibles. We do not bill insurance for regular care. Insurance can still be used for vaccines or services provided outside our clinic.
✅ Here’s how to start:
📅 Step 1: Book a Meet & Greet call
Use our online scheduler to book a 15–30 minute phone call with Angie, our Patient Success Coordinator. You must do this to join.
📝 Step 2: Fill out the Meet & Greet questionnaire before your call
We’ll send you a form that asks things like:
How you found us?
Parent/guardian info
Your child’s name and age (or due date if expecting)
Home address (to see if house calls are possible)
Insurance info (for vaccines or referrals)
That you know we are a membership service and insurance/Medicaid isn’t used for regular care
Vitamin K info (for babies under 6 months)
⚠️ If you don’t finish the form before the call, your Meet & Greet may be cancelled.
☎️ Step 3: Attend Your Phone Meet & Greet
Talk with Angie about how our practice works. She’ll answer questions and guide you through the process.
💻 Step 4: (Optional) Meet Dr. Tonya on Zoom
If you’d like, you can schedule a short video call with Dr. Tonya. This is a chance to ask medical questions and put a face with the name.
💳 Step 5: Finalize Enrollment
After your Meet & Greet, you will receive an email invitation with instructions to finish enrollment. In this step you will:
Enter billing information
Choose your membership start date
Pick monthly or yearly payments
Confirm your service zone or LOCATION, during enrollment, for house calls (this will be in your invitation email).
Please allow 24-48 hours for us to confirm your membership details and ensure everything is as you indicated.
Communicate when you want to be billed (1st or 15th of the month). You might have given this to us already during our Meet & Greet or via text message. If you have not, please communicate this to us ASAP so there are no delays in setting up your membership.
👉 Step 6: Onboard and Begin Care
Once you’re enrolled, you will:
Enter BILLING information once again for incidentals billing.
Complete the New Patient Intake and other forms we send you by email.
Download our secure messaging app (Spruce) using the link we will send. You can use it for questions, video visits, and document sharing.
Set up your first house call appointment. Once you complete the Secure Messaging signup above, you will receive your BOOKING LINK to schedule.
Get same-day or next-day care when your child needs it.
